Our travelling exhibition is on tour now!!
The exhibition tells the story of the arrival of thread making in Renfrewshire and Paisley, followed by a detailed description of how Coats & Clarks made cotton thread. Accompanying the exhibition is a display of artefacts from one of Paisley’s early linen thread manufactures along with examples of Coats and Clarks threads and advertising materials.
In August the exhibition is located in Lochwinnoch Community Library – details of opening times are available here
